About this Site…This site is devoted to my hobby,
stat-based computer sports simulations.
Using statistical-based sport simulated games, such as Diamond-Mind
Baseball; Strat-O-Matic Baseball; Second
and Ten Football; TMG Basketball, Action PC
Baseball, ActionPC Basketball, BBW, and ReplayPC,
I can replay sports history during the period of time that I enjoyed sports the
most, the 50’s thru the 80’s, though I’ll play any season, any sport, any
time!!!
My Baseball replays, use
Actual Lineups/Rotations/Transactions and Injuries are turned off. I usually manage every team and every game of
that particular season replay. I allow myself approximately 4-5 months to
complete my Baseball replays and try to complete three (3) replays per calendar
year. I consider DMB, ActionPC, SOM, BBW (Skeetersoft) and ReplayPC to all have
exceptional features that would provide for an accurate replay. I will,
therefore, continue to utilize all those mentioned in the future.
My Football replays, use both ActionPC Football
and SAT. However, once again, any plans
for a prolonged football replay project has once again been put on hold
indefinitely. I just don’t plan to make the time for a football project at this
time. My reason is really an easy one, I would rather allow the time to replay
“baseball” by far my favorite sport, followed by “basketball” my second favorite
and besides baseball, a sport I played in HS and continue to enjoy emmensely,
so football remains on the sidelines, so-to-speak for now.
My Basketball replays have been completed using
TMG Basketball (Tom Minks Games) which is an extremely accurate simulation. As
you’ll read below, TMG is a Computer/Cards based game that’s very transparent.
The game can be played easily within 30-40 minutes. My 1965/66 Basketball
replay is underway. A couple years ago I completed 1963/64 using TMG which
produced great stats and realism (See results below). My 1976/77 TMG replay
which is currently stalled at 1/12/77, will be abandoned and completed at a
later date.

Encyclopedia, I’m working on an encylopedia with friend Stan
Watson (Replayman) that would merge the various baseball programs stats into
one Encyclopedia. Look for something in late 2010 as it will be shared with the
gaming community upon completion. The Encyclopedia should be something pretty
special once completed!!!
